Our Doctors

Dr. Ridder is a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University and a 2013 graduate of the University of Missouri at St. Louis Optometry School, where he graduated at the top of his class with Beta Sigma Kappa honors. He is a member of the Nebraska Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Ridder is dedicated to improving the quality of life of his patients and continually provides the latest optometric technologies with honest and compassionate care.

He specializes in comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating various ocular diseases, and providing urgent eye care for those in need. Dr. Ridder loves his job and truly takes pride in ensuring each of his patients enjoys their experience while at Northeast Eye Care. Outside the office, Dr. Ridder enjoys coaching youth sports, staying active and participating in several adult sporting leagues, being involved in community activities, and traveling with his wife, Jamie.

Dr. Wietfeld is a comprehensive optometrist who specializes in routine and problem-focused eye examinations, contact lens fittings, pediatric eye care, urgent eye care, and pre- and post-operative care.

A native of West Point, Nebraska, Dr. Wietfeld received her bachelor of science degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2017. After graduation, Dr. Wietfeld earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry (SCO) in Memphis, TN in 2021. Through the SCO optometric program, Dr. Wietfeld completed externships at the Wills Eye Clinic in Philadelphia, PA, Vision Source in Kansas City, MO, and The Eye Clinic in Memphis, TN. After completing her degree, Dr. Wietfeld moved back to West Point to work at Northeast Eye Care. She married Eric Wietfeld in 2021, and in 2023, they welcomed their daughter, Collins. Dr. Wietfeld enjoys spending time with friends and family and reading in her spare time.
